What a tremendous festival we enjoyed in 2023 in the gorgeous setting of the Château of Valmy. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and expectations of an unforgettable evening of entertainment that lay ahead. The third season in June 2024 promises to be just as memorable but also one that brings with it a change to the programmation of 2023!

The Bacchus Festival will be extended for an extra day!

At a recent press conference, Fabrice Lorente, co-director of the festival, announced that the festival will now be one day longer. This extra day will be dedicated to a special event called ‘Bacchus on Family’. The event aims to support the association ‘Alice et les petits guerriers’, which was founded by Olivier Brunel in February 2023. The association provides mobile homes and campsites for families who have children with long-term hospitalization to have a break. Olivier Brunei started this initiative after his seven-year-old daughter was hospitalized and unfortunately passed away several months later due to a rare illness.

All entrance fees will support this important cause. It costs 5€, and children under 12 can enter for free. This will be a day for families to enjoy the beautiful setting, good weather, and a program of activities including games and animations. There will be various activities, music performed by local and regional artists, and special guest stars. Also, don’t forget about the delicious local wines and food.

The ticket office is open online and there are limited spots available for a maximum of 3000 people. The park will be open from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, June 9, 2024. It will be a special day for people of all ages, where families can enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful park located between the sea and mountains and spend quality time together. Make sure to book your tickets early to avoid any disappointment.
